Voting in Islam

Leaflet giving guidance to Muslims in Britain on the issue of voting. It deals with issues such as whether voting in British General Elections is forbidden and whether voting for a non-Muslim party or candidate represents acceptance of their disbelief in the Muslim faith. The leaflet was produced by the Islamic Forum Europe to offer advice for the General Election of 2005, and proposed that Muslims should be active participants in the political process.The Forum advised Muslim voters to use election guidelines drawn up by the Muslim Council of Britain to help select the most suitable candidates.
