Children at the John F. Kennedy Centre for the training and education of students with severe mental handicap
This photograph shows children with learning difficulties in their class at the John F. Kennedy School in Newham. The picture was probably taken during the 1960s. Today the school is classified as a special school. Many of the seventy pupils who now attend have profound and complex learning difficulties.
