Printed Ephemera — 1992-1993
Trade card
Daquise opened its doors in 1947 to cater to the postwar community of Poles which had grown up around South Kensington. This makes it the oldest Polish restaurant in London. Daquise serves typical Polish dishes like beetroot soup, blinis (pancakes) and pierogis (dumplings), accompanied by cabbage, sour cream and Polish beer or vodka.
