Announce
The first edition of this free weekly newssheet came out in August 1992, aimed at 'Poles and other Eastern Europeans in London'. It carries adverts in Polish for jobs, accommodation, English language courses, travel, leisure and entertainment. There is an article in English entitled 'Discover London on the cheap'. After the fall of communism in 1989, the existing eastern European population in London was expanded by newcomers from countries previously cut off behind the iron curtain.
