Children queuing outside the Coliseum Cinema in Harrow Road, Paddington, c. 1956. The Coliseum was built in the 1920s and its claim to fame is that it was used as the location for the cinema robbery scene in the 1950 British crime film, The Blue Lamp, starring Dirk Bogarde and Jack Warner. The cinema closed in 1956 and was later demolished.
