Suffragettes Holding a Broken Window Pane
Group of 6 suffragettes holding a broken window pane. Adela Pankhurst can be seen holding the pane on the far left.
This image was part of a photograph album compiled by Catherine Pine, Emmeline Pankhurst's nurse. Although Adela Pankhurst was in Scotland in 1909 the dating of the image handwritten on the front by Nurse Pine, may be incorrect as she added these dates retrospectively in the early 1920s.
