Telephone
This telephone works with a 'miniaturised' Datel modem. The Datel 200 service provided data links at up to 300 bits per second over the public telephone network. The 'standard modem' for it occupied two bulky boxes and weighed around 30 pounds. The 'miniaturised' modem suited simpler installations, such as connecting to a basic keyboard or printer.
