London AD 1924
Bronze plaquette commemorating the 1924 British Empire Exhibition. Designed by Madge Kitchener it was part of a set of eight plaquettes by different artists sold as souvenirs to visitors attending the exhibition. Issued by the Royal Mint, the plaquettes were commissioned to encourage British designers to produce more modern designs.
