This cigarette card was issued with Sunripe Cigarettes as part of the 'Wireless Telephony Broadcasting Series'. No 1 in the series is a portrait of 'Uncle Arthur' in the studio. On the back are printed biographical details of Arthur Burrows, director of radio programmes for the B.B.C. Series of cards representing popular subjects were inserted in cigarette packets to encourage customer loyalty to a particular brand.
