Bedjacket
Bedgown of ivory silk satin, lined with silk taffeta. The garment is quilted in ivory silk thread in an all over diamond pattern with a scroll pattern border. It is hip length, constructed of a simple t-shape and opens down CF.
Construction Details: pieces are sewn together with felled seams – fronts to back, along sleeves, back collar/neck band piece to back neck edge; quilting has been worked in the shape of the garment pieces and allows for the perimeter edges to be turned in towards each other and finished with running stitches; the cuffs are made from separate pieces stitched on with felled seams underneath the turn up.
