History of Negro Revolt
This book entitled ‘A History of "Negro Revolt"’ is divided into six chapters. They trace the history of Black people’s rebellion against slavery. The final chapter reviews the work of the Black activist Marcus Garvey and ‘"Negro" Movements in Recent Years’. The author C.L. R. James was a writer, historian and pan-African activist born in Trinidad. He lived in Britain for several long periods and died in Brixton.
