Some people will believe Anything: Myths & facts about immigration & race relations
This leaflet attempts to refute popular prejudices against immigrants to Britain, particularly Asians and West Indians. The Community Relations Commission counters a number of untruths about immigration, housing, social services, employment and education, such as:
'MYTH: The English race was a pure one until these people came.
FACT: There is no such thing as the 'English race'. The English are made up of many different groups who have come here at different times.'
