Printed Ephemera — 1983
Indian music and dance
This leaflet publicises an evening of Indian Music and Dance in 1983, held at Logan Hall, Bedford Way, part of the University of London's Institute of Education. The event was organised by the Anti Apartheid Movement, and the leaflet carries a photograph of an Indian dancer. The British Anti-Apartheid Movement was established in London by South African exiles in June 1959 to persuade the British public to boycott South African goods in protest against the racist policies of apartheid. It expanded its activities as part of the wider collective struggle against racism.
