Butlin's Top of the Tower
'Butlin's Top of the Tower Restaurant' was at the top of the Post Office tower in Maple Street. The revolving restaurant, run by Sir William (Billy) Butlin and his son Robert, was marketed as 'London's new glamour spot'. The restaurant completed three full revolutions an hour, giving diners a leisurely panoramic view of London.
