Post Office Telegraphs
Telegram dated 22 November 1911 concerning the arrest of the Suffragette Mrs Arncliffe Sennett. Arrested on 21 November 1911 for breaking a window in the office of the Daily Mail, Maud was sentenced to 7 days inprisonment. The telegram addressed to 'Pleasures Ldn' has the handwritten message 'Maud got 7 days did splendidly bob'.
