Rajah Gram Flour
As the London Asian community has grown, so too has the need for specialist food suppliers and importers. Gram flour is used in Indian cooking, and is often made from ground chickpeas or lentils. It has a slightly nutty flavour and is generally used as a thickener for curries and soups. This packet of Rajah gram flour was bought from the Safeway supermarket in Islington.
