Box, paintbox
Metal rectangular artists paint box. Inside divided into compartments containing 15 paint bladders; two collapsible paint tubes; two large glass bottles with cork stoppers; one glass bottle with cork and leather cover, half filled with pale yellow liquid; four glass bottles containing pigment powders; five brushes; one small brush head; one bone stick; two metal tools; one wooden stick; and one palette knife. The left hand side of the box has a metal arm and four holes on the inside of the lid, so that the lid can be held open at different angles. There is a metal clip on the right side of the inside of the lid. The outside of the box is painted black and the inside is unpainted. Single metal loop carrying handle to front. Hasp to front, pin missing.
