Invitation
Invitation from the Council of the Festival of Britain to Peter Kneebone to meet the Prime Minister, Clement Attlee, at a reception in London's Lancaster House, on 2 May 1950. The Council was responsible for advising the government on the arrangements for the Festival. Peter Kneebone worked for the Festival Office and become an overseas ambassador for the event.
