Invitation
Invitation to an opening or private view of the Exhibition of Science at the Science Museum, South Kensington on 4 May 1951 for the Festival of Britain. The exhibition included exhibits about the earth's crust, the world of the atom, genes and the structure of plants. One of the most popular exhibits were the 'tortoises', small robots that responded to light.
