Printed Ephemera — 1951
Fly BEA to the Festival of Britain
This leaflet was issued by the British European Airways Corporation to advertise flights and fares from a number of UK and European cities to London for the Festival of Britain, 1951. The Festival was intended to be a significant tourist attraction that would boost the post-war economy. BEA dominated the domestic flight market. Founded in 1946, it merged with British Overseas Airways Corporation in 1973 to form British Airways.
