Henry Moore exhibition of drawings and sculpture
Poster promoting an exhibition of Henry Moore drawings and sculpture at the Tate Gallery for the Festival of Britain, 1951. This was part of the London Season of the Arts organised by the Arts Council for the Festival, with a programme of events across the capital. Moore was one of a number of artists commissioned to make works of public art for the South Bank Exhibition site. This was the first time that many visitors had ever encountered modern art.
