What's On Today
Programme for events at the Festival Pleasure Gardens, Battersea Park, in September 1951, for the Festival of Britain. Events were held in the open-air amphitheatre, which had seating for 1,300, and in a Georgian-style theatre on the riverside. There was also a bandstand, a Punch & Judy theatre and an enormous Dance Pavilion.
