Printed Ephemera — 1932-12-01
Thy will be done
This is an example of a typical memorial card of the 1930s. It is a folded card printed in silver and black. On the front are the words 'Thy Will Be Done' in black surrounded by ivy and a crucifix. Inside a four verse poem is printed on the left with on the right a personal dedication that reads 'Sacred to the memory of my dear grand-daughter Maud Ellen Lee, who died December 1st, 1932 aged 14 years, 7 months. From her sorrowing Grandmother Bird. Safe in the arms of Jesus.'
