Token, trade token
Trade token, issued by Schooling and Son Ironmongers, dated 1795. The obverse is stamped with the image of Liberty holding out a set of scales in one hand and a sword in the other. The reverse side features the image of a kettle on an adorned mantel with 'Furnisher, Ironmongers & Smiths At Their Manufactory, Crispin Street, Spitalfields' impressed above.
