Kitchen utensil, egg slicer
Aluminium egg slicer in original cardboard box purchased at the Purley branch of Woolworth's in 1921 for 6d. The slicer is marked on the base 'English make'. The box is printed in blue, yellow, red and orange with illustrations of a sliced egg, the slicer and the Union Jack with labelling 'Aluminium/Egg/Slicer' 'Entirely/British'.
