Printed Ephemera — 1999
Fresher than green, brighter than orange
This poetry anthology contains work by Irish women who were living in London in 1999. The introduction says: 'Although comprising about ten percent of London's female population, the Irish woman is doubly invisible. As a member of an ethnic minority whose existence is frequently unrecognised, and as a woman whose working life is hidden in other women's homes, in hospitals and in offices, her contribution to the making and shaping of this land has been unsung for more than two centuries.'
