The main buildings along Colonial Avenue were the Australian and Canadian Pavilions, the Ceylon Village, the Indian Arena and the pavilion housing exhibits from the French Colonies. To the left of this view can be seen the Ceylon Tea House, located in front of the Ceylon village. These refreshment rooms were sponsored by the tea company Liptons who owned tea plantations in Ceylon (Sri Lanka).
