Franco-British Exhibition, Court of Honour, Night Effect
Picture postcard showing the Court of Honour at White City at night. White City was open from 11am to 11pm. At night the Court was lit by thousands of electric lamps. Season ticket holders often regularly returned to White City to enjoy the evening's entertainment that included a programme of band music in the gardens and fireworks in the stadium.
