Court of Honour, Franco-British Exhibition, London, 1908
Picture postcard showing a view of the Court of Honour at White City. As visitors entered White City they were confronted by the breathtakingly stunning Court of Honour with its central lake spanned by a wide pedestrian bridge & a beautiful cascading waterfall. The Court was surrounded by some of White City's main pavilions including the Palaces of French Dress, British Industries, British Dress and British Education. At the far end was Congress Hall. Official guide books described the Court of Honour as glittering 'like the queen jewel in a cluster of gems'.
One in a series of postcards produced by Valentine & Sons, official postcard printers for White City.
