Bird's eye-View, Franco-British Exhibition, London 1908
Picture postcard showing a birds eye view of White City. The postcard includes a message sent to Mr Moss in Staffordshire. Postmarked Lambeth 30 September 1908 the writer notes he has not been to the exhibition and suggests Mr Moss visit White City when he comes to London next year.
This postcard was printed by Raphael Tuck. Although not the 'official' postcard printers for White City this publishing company had a stand, just inside the Shepherd's Bush entrance to White City where they sold postcards, Christmas cards, calendars & art novelties.
