Suffragist prisoners are political offenders
Leaflet No. 95 published by the Women's Social and Political Union. Entlted 'Suffragist Prisoners are Political Offenders, therefore they should be treated as first-class misdemeanants', this leaflet argues that suffragettes were making a political protest when they broke the law and so should be treated as political prisoners, as had happened to other political offenders in the past.
