The Ball
This trade token, worth a farthing, was issued for a business at the sign of the Ball, in King Street, Westminster, Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1591; Obv inscription: AT.YE.BALL.IN.KING (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A ball suspended between 57 (in field); Rev inscription: STREET.WESTMINSTER (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = R.K.B. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
