Sepia picture postcard showing a view of the entrance to the Algerian Palace pavilion at the Franco-British exhibition held at White City 1908. This postcard was sent from the post office in White City and includes a postmark stamped 'Franco-British Exhibition 4.30pm' 1 October 1908. The Algerian Palace pavilion was situated alongside the Tunis & other French Colonies exhibit along Colonial Avenue. Here visitors could watch demonstrations of traditional crafts such as carpet or rug making.
