Horses drinking at a water trough near St Clement Danes church, Aldwych
The Strand looking towards the church of St. Clement Danes, largely built to the designs of Sir Christopher Wren, with the memorial to the 19th century Prime Minister, W.E. Gladstone, on the left, c. 1930. In the middle is a water trough provided by the Metropolitan Drinking Fountain & Cattle Trough Association for the refreshment of horses.
