This is a photograph of an engraving probably entitled ‘Henry the Seventh Chapel, Interior View Looking East’, drawn by J.P. Neale, engraved by H. Le Keux and with figures by J. Stephenoff, engraved by G. Cooke.
Reid took a number of photographs of the interior of Westminster Abbey with the aim of recording an extended walk through the cities of Westminster and London. He wrote two manuscripts in rhyme called ‘The Route Ornate’ to accompany his images.
