Interior of Westminster Abbey
Photograph of an engraving showing the nave and north aisle of Westminster Abbey.
Reid took a number of photographs of the interior of Westminster Abbey with the aim of recording an extended walk through the cities of Westminster and London. This sometimes included photographs of other works of art such as prints and paintings. He wrote two manuscripts in rhyme called ‘The Route Ornate’ to accompany his images.
