Air Raid Precautions - An Album to contain a Series of Cigarette Cards of National Importance
This cigarette-card album, Air Raid Precautions, includes a complete set of 49 pictorial cards issued in 1938 by the cigarette manufacturer W.D. & H.O. Wills in association with the government. The cards, inserted in cigarette packets, were intended to provide the public with useful information on how to respond to air raids. Since many people smoked, the government used cigarette cards to distribute important information to the general public.
