Penknife
A visitor to the British Empire Exhibition held at Wembley bought this penknife as a souvenir of the visit. First held in 1924, the exhibition celebrated the achievements of the Empire. An estimated 10 million people visited in its first season. The production of souvenirs proved lucrative for many exhibiting manufacturers.
