Dictaphone, dictaphone tape
The Grundig Stenorette, made by Grundig (Great Britain) Ltd, was one of the first truly portable dictation machines. It was light, relatively small and easy to use.
Familiar to many secretaries in the City, the Stenorette gave its name to generations of increasingly smaller dictation machines, and the name is still in use. This machine was supplied with a dust cover, foot switch, microphone and earphones.
