To be with Christ which is far better
This memorial card has the words 'To be with Christ which is far better' printed on the front. It has a silver and black border with an illustration of a sprig of roses. On the inside, there is a four line verse: 'Dear Mother whom we loved so well,/Is now on earth no more; / She's gone with Jesus Christ to dwell/ On yonder peaceful shore.' On the opposite side are the words 'In Loving Memory of Charlotte Cowton, who died February 1st, 1914, Aged 76 years, And was Interred at Beighton Church, February 4th'.
