Printed handbill announcing the display of the carcass of the 'Gigantic Whale' at the Charing Cross Pavilion. The bill is printed with details of the discovery of the dead Greenland Whale off the coast of Belgium in 1827, its transfer to the mainland and its dimensions. Visitors were able to pay a fee to sit inside the whale carcass displayed within a specially erected Pavilion located in the area of the King's Mews, Charing Cross.
