Printed Ephemera — 1999
Daring to Care
The leaflet appeals for temporary accommodation, befrienders and volunteers to help young lesbians and bisexual women. It was produced by the Albert Kennedy Trust, established in Manchester as a response to the death of Albert Kennedy, a young, gay, homeless man. There is now also a branch in London. This flyer highlights the problems that young gay people may have if they are mistreated or rejected by their families, particularly if they are from minority ethnic communities.
