Card, invitation card
An invitation card addressed to Sir Charles Archer Cook requesting his company at a banquet to to celebrate the 500th Anniversary of the establishment of Lincoln's Inn, to be held at Lincoln's Inn Hall on 5 December 1922.
According to the records of the Honourable Society of Lincolns Inn, though the extant records of the Inn open in 1422, there was already a society of lawyers in existence who went by this name. Therefore, the society was likely to have evolved in the late fourteenth century.
