Invoice
Argent and Company, horse and carriage agents of Pentonville Road, issued this invoice on 14 April 1906. It records the hire of a wedding carriage for the marriage of Walter Day (1877-1961) and Emily Amelia Hobden (1882-1960), who were married in Islington on 14 April 1906.
The couple lived in Islington until the late 1930s when Walter retired from his job as a brewery cellar man and the family moved out of London. The Days had four children - Walter, Ena, Edith and Sydney.
