Twentieth Century Robbery! Taxes, pay up and shut up
This pro-female suffrage propaganda poster refers to the 'no taxation without representation' campaign. The poster represents the Liberal politicians Asquith and Lloyd George as 'Twentieth Century Robbers', happy to tax women but not prepared to give them the vote to influence how those taxes were spent.
