Court of Honour (at night) Japan-British Exhibition
Mounted colour postcard showing a view of the 'Court of Honour at night' at the Japan-British Exhibition, 1910. The Court of Honour was the centrepiece of White City. It was 400 feet (over 120 metres) long and surrounded by Oriental- and Indian-style exhibition pavilions. In the centre was a lake, spanned by a bridge. At one end of the court was the impressive Congress Hall with its spectacular waterfall.
