Mr Young as Rolla
Uncoloured theatrical souvenir portrait plate printed with an engraving of the actor Mr Young in the role of Rolla. Published October 13th 1821. Such portraits would have been sold plain as theatrical souvenirs for colouring and tinselling at home. The print has been annotated in pencil, to suggest that the tunic should be coloured white and its trim coloured gold.
