Mr Smith as Obi or Three Fingered Jack
Uncoloured theatrical souvenir portrait plate printed with an engraving of the actor Mr Smith in the role of Obi from the play Three Fingered Jack as performed at the Coburg Theatre. Published August 18th 1819 the engraving is signed ' Drawn and etchd by J.Findlay'. Such portraits would have been sold plain as theatrical souvenirs for colouring and tinselling at home.
