Guidebook entitled 'A Few Facts Concerning the Franco-British Exhibition'. The Franco-British exhibition was the first to be held at White City. This guide introduces visitors to the attractions and features of the exhibition that were to become familiar to repeat visitors over the years. White City was open for six years, exhibitions were seasonal and open from May to October. The enterprise was overseen by executive, finance and organising committees composed of leading politicians, diplomats and members of the aristocracy. Imre Kiralfy, the creative force behind White City held the title of Commissioner-General, his sons Charles and Albert were Deputy Commissioners-General.
