The Wandring Jew's Chronicle; Or a Brief History of the Remarkable Passages from William the Conqueror to this Present Reign
Broadside entitled 'The Wandring Jew's Chronicle' printed with a brief history in verse of the reigns of the monarchs from William Conqueror to the present King George I. The broadside includes woodcut engravings of the monarchs referred to in the verses.
The Wandering Jew's Chronicle was first published in 1634 and revised and republished over the following two hundred years as each new monarch acceded the throne. This version was printed by Thomas Norris on the accession of King George I.
